Buying Advice Has anyone ever found an online source for Toolcat parts?

I searched high and low a couple of years ago and other than filters, I've never been able to find a online discount source for parts. Has anyone found any?

$250 for a simple step is utterly ridiculous.

I agree, the step price is rediculous. In addition, the step require drilling in the floor/frame and is not a easy attach process. You could build you own for 1/10th of that price.

I wish I could work heavier gauge metal, I'd make my own. I work my Toolcat in many off camber situations and the step is a necessity when trying to climb in sometimes from the low side.

At one point you said you might make your own, if you do, please consider making more than one.

I have a step on the driver's side. Bought mine when it was cheaper at only $220.:laughing: I was surprised it was not a simple bolt on but instead required drilling, measuring ect. That is usually the advantage of OEM is that it fits right on. The step is really useful if you get in and out frequently. That is a high step into the D series compared to the earlier models which were a little lower.

I believe a JD CUT step is priced around $25-30. Weld on some side brackets and bolt it on. Even a simple flat plate, square tubing or angle iron would work.
