has anyone ever bough a front fender for a hpx before??

i managed to break both front fenders in one day yesterday so now i have to get new ones but i'm not gonna put them on til i sell it or stop crossing the big ditch lol.i went down into a ditch and i bottomed out on my front left tire and caught the fender well when i noticed i bottomed out i put it in reverse and tried to backup out of the ditch and when i did that the rearend started to slide around and down the side of the ditch . i then held my foot on the brake and put it in forward and tried to go up the other side when i did that bam it came down to fast and hit a small tree on the other side and cracked the passenger side fender right in front so i put it in reverse and tried to backup the hill agian but all it did was wanna whip around on me then when it got to a certain angle the drivers side tires started to leave the ground and the whole hpx wanted to lean over so i gunned it and the rearend fell the rest of the way down into the ditch. my son pulled up and seen me sitting in the bottom of the ditch long ways and asked me how did i end up like that i told him it was a long story then he saw the front fenders and said AWE!!! mom's gonna be pissed!! to get it out we hooked the winch to a tree and i worked the control for the winch while my son drove the hpx . thats the first time the hpx ever done a wheelie when it came out the ditch it wanted to flip backwards and the front end came up but the winch held it . but i tell you if my son had gas he could have whistled dixie through his you know what.his eyes got big when the front end came up on him. i think when i get the fenders i will just keep them in the boxs and store them in the shed. why put them on if i will just break them too. almost 4 years without a scratch and then this happens.

I replaced a fender on mine but it was under warranty, determined it was a stress crack. I will check and see if a price was listed on the work order.

mine was stressed or should i say i was stressed after.lol but i figures after this long and i kept it intact i figured it was due some kinda damage .

There is a large JD dealer on e-bay that stocks many plastic panels. Most of his other prices look reasonable. With freight he would probably be about the same as a local dealer.

the web sight for j.d says 87 bucks and some change for a fender. i figured it would be more but thats still too much for me right now. i'm thinkin of modifieyin the ones i broke til i get the new ones or get some new front shocks.

i will be replaceing them soon but i wanna try doing some kinda freakish conversion to these while they are brokeing.lol i'm still on the upset side of breaking these things . i went from 04 without a scratch on my hpx and i run this thing through everything you can imagine (i don't hold back) but i always watched what i did but my front shocks got a little worn and i guess the slope was a little to slick this time .oh!well ! you know what they say you ain't havin fun unless you breakin something.
