why can't they smarten up and make a fan that comes in 2 parts and can be resecured appropriately and a mount that can be slid forward to access the mounting bolts for the fan. Sure, that would raise the cost of the fan to lets say $30 instead of $12, but that still sure beats $675. And in my case, since I had the KTAC insurance, they covered the cost of replacement minus the deductible of $250 of course. Yea, $250 is still pretty steep, but considering the 8 hours that I can't spare, it's worth it. Only thing is that it's been almost 2 weeks now and they still haven't gotten around to looking at it yet
