I'm curious if anyone on here is familiar with Harvest Brute tillers. I'm certain they're Chinese, but are they any good? I'm concerned by the lack of information on their website and online. They told me they're supposed to have a working depth of 6-9". But that's all I can find on them aside from being a part of the ABTech College in NC

I would rather see you purchase a a MASCHIO tiller in that width as
they are made in Italy and MASCHIO has a dealer network in the
United States.

That would be nice. My plans are to only use it twice a year, first of the year to prep the garden and end of the garden season to till everything in to prep for a winter cover crop.

If you are going to only use it twice a year and not do any custom work look
at the Cutter L model which is the smallest model they make.
The largest width in the Cutter L model is 1.25 meters or 49.21 inches in tilling width.
The smallest width Cutter L model is 1.01 meters or 41.34 inches in tilling width.
If your mule has more than 25 horsepower at the power take off your tractor
will have plenty of torque to till and also cultivate with it if your garden is large
enough for it to till between rows.

It would either be ran off a John Deere 5400 or an Allis Chalmers WD45 diesel. So, that would be a little small.

Those JD 5400's have massive 4 wheel drive tires.
If you still wish to look at the MASCHIO rotary tillers
the models A,H or W, are the next size up for either
of your mules to use.
Model W which is the largest is almost 7 feet wide has
60 tiller tines.
