Harv, You asked for it! I took some photos of some of the usefull things I welded up to make life a little easier. Here is a 5 ft. roller that comes in handy in the spring time to stop the rocks from growing. Weighs about 1200lbs. when filled.

Here's one of a 3pt. counterweight for the loader I made. It has about 450lbs. of lead type in it. Made from an old well water holding tank.

Von, those are swell pictures, both here and of your shop. But I thought all of the photos were supposed to go in the "photos section, so they wouldn't be scattered all over. I realize it says "tractor" photos, but people would figure it out. I dunno. Muhammad, what are we supposed to do with great pics of things besides tractors? Maybe you need to call it "Tractors, Equipment & Related Photos.???

BobT,
It looks like he got the right spots! Shop was 'In The Shop' and his attachments was in the 'Attachments'!

Von, nice looking job on both! What did you use for bearings on your Roller? Also, what did you fill it with?

Scruffy,
I fill it with water, and the bearings are just bronze bushings in a castiron frame that bolts on. I got them off a smaller roller that I found in the trash. It works well, and with 5 ac. of yard if comes in real handy in the spring.

Von, I suspected the water, but not the bronze bushings! I assume that you have zerk fittings in them. Thanks for the info.

Von,

I put some pillow block bearings with grease fittings on mine. I think it cost me 50 bucks for 2. If they ever go bad I can just get a new bearing (use the old bearing "pillow").

Great counter weight! I'm thinking of doing something too for a counter weight.
