I'm new to TractorByNet and new to hobby forestry/farming. Patti and I have forty acres of Firs, Pines and a little Oak that we're caring for and hope to get into a real producing garden soon. (Though, this year may be just prepping since it's been so cold so far this year)
I hope to benefit from the experience of you farming/gardening veterans out there by asking equipment questions as well as maintenence advice as things come up... as they do for me almost daily. We own a Kubota 30 HP that is a wonderful piece of equipment; we've found lots of uses for it but I know there are more and may require additional attachments. So far besides the front end loader and brush forks we have a box scraper and a snow blower... considering a 3pt rototiller, though weighing the cost vs. use of the additional equipment at this point in our new late-in-life Ag career.
