I have a Land Pride 1860 cutter. It seems almost impossibe to get to the grease fitting on the front of the drive shaft. Am i missing something?
Also, the manual says to grease the shaft itself periodically. How do you do that?

Take pto shaft off,and then you can turn u-joint to reach zert. While it is disconnected slide shaft apart and spread some grease on square shaft.

Also, NAPA sells a fitting for the end of your grease gun that has a slot for the zerk on the side (90 degrees) instead of on the end. You can get to a lot of zerks in tight places with one of these.
