I want to install irrigation, but I only have 32 psi of static pressure and 8 gpm of flow. By the time my water runs through pipes my friction losses will leave me with so little pressure at the heads it'll be a challenge to design a good irrigation system. 32 psi is barely enough and that's directly at the meter.
A booster pump won't help me a ton because my flow is so low. If I had good pressure but low flow, or good flow but low pressure, I could work with either scenario.
I'm thinking about using this pump with a tank and a float valve. I'd be able to get adequate pressure from my heads, and enough flow to run more heads per zone.
*If* this pump is worth a hill of beans. Reviews and specs look good.

One thing about HF tools is you pretty much find lots of reviews of the good ones on You Tube before you buy. A lot of the reviews on their website are good for finding tips about using the tools as well.

Thanks for posting that. It really illustrates why HF buried Sears and Kmart in tool sales even though those were selling respected name brands.
You go into a HF store and can find what you want easily. Rational stocking is a component of their model. Sears was the opposite - "I think we sell those. I don't know which aisle. You'll have to search and I won't help you. Maybe we're out of those and you'll never find it". Thanks, I'll go see if HF has it, then.
Amazon must run on a hyper version of this modern stocking model. Nearly everything I've ordered arrives next or second day when I'm home in town, or one additional day at ranch via USPS last-mile delivery.

Single box cars from CA to NY, I think UP picks them up, then passes them to CSX who drops them at the local siding for the local short line to deliver to our siding.
2 weeks is normal and 3 weeks is not unusual (we had 2 cars last month that were at least 3 weeks, they got stuck in the mid-west in a cold snap and didnt move for a week).
If they have to be send for rework it is often months (we had a car go for rework that we received damaged at the end of January and they are just now finishing it in April).

I've seen UPS tracking start at a railyard and go through every rail hub and obscure rail landmark - passes etc - along the way. So my item must be in a UPS trailer on a flatcar. Still arrived in NorCal within the 7 day maximum that UPS specifies from the east coast. UPS must contract for a specified service level.
