I’m probably in the driving a lot of screws category and I’ve found torx head screws to be far better then square ones.

I agree, the two bits that live on my impact are a Phillips bit as seen below and a T25 Torx bit.
Anything new I try to use Torx head screws on as they seem to go in and come back out much easier.

And Torx bits seem to last at least 2 - 3 times longer than Phillips bits.

Agreed.. Torx is the way to go.

I've gotten rid of all my Philip's construction screws. I only stock Torex ones up in my barn now. So much less likely to strip out.

So I picked up the Banks coil roofing nailer the other day, reviews were great and I used a 20% coupon, I'll let you know my opinion when I finish my little roofing job.

Now I do want to recommend their Hardy leather work gloves. I normally buy my work gloves at a big box store and they are normally 12-16 bucks a pair! I bought 2 pair of the HF ones a couple months ago @ $6.99 a pair. I think they are as comfortable as the expensive ones and hold up better! I still have a new pair hanging in my garage (because I haven't worn the first set out yet) but when I went in to buy the gun above I had a 30% off 5 items under 10 bucks coupon, so I bought 3 more pair and also a pair of a different type to try out.
The gloves are great, at least in my opinion, we will see about the gun!

Those would be the ones.. Mine say made in Pakistan.. not a big difference

Does anyone have any experience with the Harbor Freight needle scaler?

I have an older version that I've had for years. Beat the crap out of that thing but the collar inside broke recently. I may try repairing it as all it does is hold the needles in place. These work great for chipping off thick rust scale or thick paint. I last used mine to chip the scale off my truck frame. I created some holes to repair.
