Harbor Freight rotary laser level and my new shop floor

I'm converting two horse stalls into a "wet shop" for processing cider. I'm doing a 6" concrete pour on top of a moisture barrier, 1" foam insulation, and 6" of gravel. All that said, I had to dig the floor out quite a ways to get it to the 13" below grade that I needed.

I "modified" my Harbor Freight rotary laser level to sweep the floor so that I could see the high spots and dig them down, instead of just digging a deeper hole in the middle of the room.

I put a video on YouTube on how I set up the laser level, and what it looks like while it's sweeping over the floor. It reminded me a lot of the P-scan radar displays that I worked with a lifetime ago, and I'm VERY pleased with both the laser and my application of if.

How did your apples do this year, we lost everyone with that bad spring frost. Also what varities do you have in your cider? Is it a sweeter mix or more along the lines of the english hard cider varities?
