Does anyone have one? I have a harrow, land grader and a brush hog that are all a PITA to hook up by yourself, requiring a really big prybar, most of the time. They all have a "Quick hitch" compatible sticker on them.

I'm wondering if one of these quick hitch systems is the answer.

I don’t have a quick hitch but two things for the trick for me: drop the implement in a flat area, and I have telescoping lift arms on the 3ph. If you can install those lift arms, it makes a world of difference.

I have the HF Haulmaster Quick Hitch and it works fine on any QH compatible implement. I use it on my box scraper, landscape rake, and 3 pt sprayer. Unfortunately there is nothing that makes the post hole digger anything but a PITA to put on. I've learned how to make easier but I don't think "easy" will ever be in the same sentence.

Are you talking about the Harbor Freight quick hitch? If so, it's quite well constructed for it's price. That being said, the top hook has a design flaw but that's easily fixed, also I recommend getting pins to replace the top links bolts. Annoyingly they don't sell quick hitch bushings, lol.

If you wait for a sale you can get them as low as $99 as an Inside Track member, that's what I did.

Link goes to Ken's Bolt-On Hooks. 🍻

I have a L3800 and they don't have the telescoping ends. The 3-pt arms also don't have a very wide spread, so you really have to get centered perfectly.

I have the JD 3-point QH [i-Match] and I know that you're not asking about that. ;)

What I will add is that you're going to need a set of 'bushings' for the implements that are going onto the QH. 2 per implement. They are pricey but you can swap them around between implements until you can afford more. It's a PITA to swap them around but it can be done.

Another thing that you can do is to put your various implements on wheeled pallets. You can then roll the whole thing up to the QH without having to bugger-about aligning the QH into the correct position. Also, the implement is higher off of the ground which makes attaching to the PTO easier.

I used one to build my front quick hitch. Works fine but did have to do some mods to the top link hook to stop interference with attachments.
