I would suggest getting the adaptor or having one made. You will need to get out of the seat to use the adaptor, however so far hooking up my 6' rake and 5' BB, I could have used it for both. Even using an adaptor (I may order) being able to connect the bottom pins just by raising the QH is worth $100.

I had to go between the rake and BB today a few times and would still be working if it were not for the QH.
