I certainly hope everyone had a good time celebrating Independence Day this year. Partly because of the weather, partly because of other commitments and jobs, our family didn't do much on July 4. Instead we had our big party a few days late; today, in fact. We went about 85 miles south of Dallas to a nephew's home. Whew, he and his wife did put on a party today. We all took dishes, but they had a couple of big wood burning smokers going and had beef brisket, chicken, and sausage and lots of it, as well as a really big crowd. They have 23 acres a few miles out of town, and I was surprised to see a new Kubota M6040 with the LA1153 front end loader sitting out back. He said he's only had it about a month now.
