my grandfather purchased an 8N ford used from a local gas company in the early 50s. it had a dearborn loader and a wain roy backhoe on it. the tag says "wain roy all hydraulic digger" and a date of 1946. we still have the backhoe but it is now mounted on a 54 ford NAA, works pretty good considering its age. very simple but effective design
