I alway look at quality from point of view. To some, a pinto was a quality car because it met their need while to others, nothing less than a Rolls is quality. To someone in the 1950's any of today's brands of tractors would seem like a spaceship and by that same token, that which we love today--will shortly be as a 1950 Allis B is today...but in it's day--wow!
My point--"best" is a subjective, subject to change and dependent on opinion.
Any tractor today is a "engineering miracle" by the standards set 50 years ago.
