Handbrake band chance 2850 John Deere

Hi
I’m changing the handbrake/parkbrake band on my John Deere 2850

I Can’t get the band off there is a pin (see picture, part number 17) that can’t come out beaucuse of the final drive
Does i need to dissassemply the final drive to ger to off ir is there a smart method

Can anyone help

Welcome to this forum
Although I've never changed a parking brake band I thought it could be changed without removing final drive. Have you considered acquiring a JD 2850 tech manual?
