When climbing on or off the tractor the FEL post is the natural hand hold, especially with senior citizen knees /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I welded-up this little diddy that's heavy enough to stay put and lifts out for zert access.

Here is the underside. The deep angle iron lip along with the shallow backside lip and just the right amount of space between them keep it from falling off when FEL arms are at maximum height. The ground-out middle on the front underside accomodates the welded bead on the FEL arm. My knees thanked me /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hmmm... and all this time I've just grabbed it without a second thought. Of course, I almost always wear work gloves so I get a little 'padding' out of those.

I just realized that using that as a handle is probably why I never remove my FEL... I wouldn't know how to get on my tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
