Kubota B26 TLB
Well it was nice out today and since I just spent the last week healing up after messing up my neck and going to see the doc. and going to phsyo to make it better. I thought I'd go ot and clean up the last bit of gravel I had and put it on the driveway where it started to washout down the hill after the rainwe had this week. Wasn't a big job only took about an hour over all with the moving of gravel, backdraging, picking rock/roots, raking, and rolling it with the atv and pull behind roller. With less then 50 hours on the tractor I'm still VERY happy with this little TLB that sometimes thinks it's a d3.

Anyways here a little video from today and someday ill get some shots or a quick over view video of everything that was done with in the 50 hours fro tractor use.

I have always wanted the B26... too bad it was just a tad to tall to get into the garage where I keep the BX...

You make it look easy... like a walk in the park.

Are there many B26's in your area?

yeah we ran into the same problem to big for our shop so were making plans to build a bigger shop now lol

most of the b26's around here are only owned by rent places and they get beat right to bits really fast I think were the only ones in my area that have a b26 thats not a rental lol

Thanks! That looks like it was a large propane tank? Did you fill it with sand or water? Wondering if it tends to push your ATV around going downhill.

I've got one of those old tanks out in the yard. Been hesitant to cut it open given all the horror stories.

I cant remember what the tank was for ill have to see if I can find the old tag on the drum. but we just had to put a bung plug in it and we were set to go. It dont bother the atv any but we use a 2002 yamaha grizzly 660 so its just a subcompact tractor in its self lol

I'm new to the tractor world and loving my BX24. I'm in awe of your tractor skills!! Is there any how to manual illustrating all of the different techniques you used? Amazing how much you guys just seem know how to do. The problem is that for a newbe none of this is second nature. Dumb as is sounds there are lots of times I don't know when to drag or push. I feel like theres money to be made in a real "how to" video, defining terms, explaining different techniques. Basicly showing you what you can do with these little jems. I've found a couple of short youtube clips but nothing that really hits the spot for a new guy with a new toy.

A quick and relatively cheap storage option for a B26 is a 20" sea container. I bought a 20 footer and the B26 just squeeks in. I did have some interference with the FOPs bolts but I took two off. Even when I installed chains in the fall she still fit. The whole tractor will fit both in length and width. From the time the low bed showed up to when I drove the tractor in was all of 30 minutes.

A seacan is also a pretty secure storage option. I installed four high security padlocks and being the paranoid that I am, I also installed a puck lock. You do have to ensure adequate ventilation as you can get sweating and things will rust. If you're in snow country. you should also raise the seacan off the ground on 8" X 8" treated posts so you can open the doors in the winter.

I put on a hip roof, vinyl siding a door and windows. I didn't have to but I'm in cottage country and I wanted to keep the neighbours happy.

Well we ALL learn something new about running equipment everyday for people have a knack for running equipment and some people just don't have it. I myself grew up always watching how the pros ran equipment on job sites and then when I could afford it took a heavy equipment operator training course to get the paper that said I was certified to run heavy equipment. As well as getting more seat time and one on one time with people that have been running equipment for 45+ years so they know what they are talking about. I have seen ads on the net for dvds to teach people how to run equipment but in the real world nothing beats having one on one time with someone that has been on equipment all their life and lots of seat time starting out slow and safe, and with time the speed will come.
