Now that there are bare spots on the driveway - I see quail every morning. Getting their grit. It's a lot bigger spot and more spots than under the carport.

Your Bobwhite quail look to be a bit bigger than our California Top Knot quail.

Yup got a pheasant season in Michigan too, along with many other game animals. Haven't seen or heard a pheasant in my area in 30 years...except on the hunting preserves.
