H & S Rake wheel springs

My FIL is in need of a few springs for his H&S 12 wheel bi-fold rake. Why is it that the parts listings for the H&S are so hard to find? I can find the teeth all day long but anything else is impossible. I am waiting on a call back from a place to see if I can order the springs but in the mean time, I found the JD springs and the New Holland springs. Would anybody happen to know if those are similar in the strength and length? Or does anybody know a commercial spring that would be a good replacement? This is the thrid item that has been a PITA to find and I think I may start looking for other options to replace items on this rake.

Thanks for the info. Now to find the parts at a close dealer or one that will ship cheaply. My closest dealer does not have any in stock and will be end of the week or next before they would get the parts.
