I am a regular lurker on gunbroker.com, my brother regularly purchases from auctionarms.com (which I also watch).

Most are surprised at my firearms interest and knowledge (?) but Daddy and Grand-daddy were avid hunters and raised me right!

I cruise gunbroker frequently. It's convenient for getting an idea of prices and to look for custom or oddball rifles. My most recent find was a LH winchester safari express in 375 H&H. I looked for over a year before I finally found one at a reasonable price.

For anything that's catalog, I have a friend that has an FFL and can get me whatever I want at a reasonable price.

Some good deals just have to watch..Ive bought 2-3 guns over the past five years from GB..

That sucks. I bought it last summer, but haven't been paying attention for anymore since then. Don't really need any more, so I guess I just haven't noticed that.

ya thats one thing i wish they would list. I looked for the longest time on mine for various rifles and shotguns and found nothing. when i investigated i found the same thing.

on an upnote.... they used to not allow you to advertise selling animals. but then created a farm/garden section and now allow "livestock" sales so thats nice.

Its the best place for some things you don't see around much - like a pintle and cradle for a .50 cal machine gun - to be mounted in a WW-2 Jeep.

Oddly enough I got the ammo can holder from Sportsman's Paradise for $40 - cheaper then GB or eBay.
