If it were me, I wouldn't want something expensive mounted behind me on the ROPS. Besides being dusty, the ROPS is the most scratched up part of my tractor. I duck under a branch but the ROPS catches it.

I think you should research and report on an upright gun mount ahead of the hydro petals just behind that plexiglass shield.

Your second question about the golf cart roof on your LS. My Kubota came with one and they just attached some 1' square tubing, same as on a golf cart, to the top of the ROPS and bolted it to the tubing. This would work on any tractor. If you were close to me I would give mine to you. I have a lot of trees to mow around and cant get close to them for fear of breaking my sun roof.
I am going to take mine off and build a steel one.

I'm starting to feel i'm in very good company. Thanks for all the ideas.
I really like that quote also....
That's the reason I have cc license and a Ruger in my back pocket most of the time. Not my weapon of choice on a coyote though.

Yardbikebob, I didn't think there was a booger co in Missouri, so I had to Google it . I guess there is- sort of...

I like the idea of an upright mount where you suggested. But I think I still have a kolpin scabbard somewhere. I forgot about. After moving it could be anywhere.
