First pic is looking up into the kids bathroom from the kitchen. I was pouring a cup when a drop of water hit me in the head. So this is a 2story frame built in the 80's.

Either way, what a PITA!! That is my "beef" with MH, such a pain to work with and finding replacement stuff is a pain. I bought a "repo" for cheap, and it can certainly be a nightmare when your used to standard construction.

Actually it was the bath, the floor was rotten so I ended up cutting out the rot and will put in new along with some extra bracing.

In my case it was Wednesday morning!

NO HOT WATER
Tank was rotted out and who knows how many gallons found its way out of the house via the basement floor.
Anyway all fixed and hot showers back in operation.

I guess if I had opened the photos I would have seen the bottom floor.
Were the junction boxes attached?
I had a similar problem in my last house built in late 70's. House inspecter noticed curled vinyl around the baseboard in the bathroom. Had to do the same thing you did before the sale.

The j boxes are part of the can lights. I hate to put a lot of money into this when we are trying to get started at the Ranchito.
