Has anyone else had a problem with their electric power steering? I have a GTX 2154 LE and the power steering went bad. Little over 100 hours. Would not start one day...battery was dead. Charged the battery and blew the driveway. By the time I was done, had no power steering. Battery light came on and would not start. Had the dealer pick it up and after waiting, the whole steering unit was replaced. Apparently, when the unit goes bad it drains the battery. You cannot "jump" start the tractor, even with a booster. You have to charge the battery itself. Of course, the steering unit will continue to drain the battery even with the key shut off. Cub came out with a retro-fit unit that has diodes built in so it will not continue to drain. Unit was replaced under warranty. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
