GTH2448 Rear

Ok, my K46 rear just went out of my machine. I mow very hilly property, and the mower has about 500 hour on the Kohler. The engine is fine, but I was wondering if there's a better rear to put back into it.
Thoughts on what might mount up okay?

Many people have replaced their dead k46s with a Tuff Torq k66. Keep in mind a new transaxle can be very expensive and it may be smarter just buying a new machine.
