GT2550 Transmission Hydro Release Lever???

My Gt2550 runs powerfully, cuts great, but after a half hour or hour, it will not go. Engine runs fine. The transmission will SCREEECCCHHH and then stop. If I push pull push pull the little hydro release lever on the rear, sometimes it will go just fine, sometimes I have to let it cool down, then it runs just fine. Any thoughts how I adjust this gizmo? Thanks.

Make sure the parking brake isn't adjusted too tight. they will heat up and seized the brakes until they cool and release.
