Got tired of having the seat tilted too far forward. Ground off 1 and 1/2 coils from the upper seat spring coils. Perfect now. Just passing the info along.

Isn't that the reverse of what you want? I have the same problem - I have to lean back to contact the seat back. If I shorten the springs, the seat will be leaning back even further.MrWiggles2 said:good idea.
I notice myself that rarely is my back resting on the seat, my back is usually off the back of the seat because I am falling forward.
I'll take a look at that idea, sounds like a good one.

For me (6 foot, 190 # and a GT2542 new this year) the solution was to remove 1 and 1/2 coils. I also noticed that on some upscale models, there is a plastic cap between the spring and the seat. If you cut too much off, that is a way of adding back. Its obvious that CC users would benifit from a more compliant seat adjustment system. My problem was that the upper back of the seat tended to push me off the seat or made me lean forward.
