GT235 wiring diagram needed

My neighbor has a J. Deere GT235 that he just replaced the engine. During the install the motor tipped over and crushed the 6 way connector. He was able to get another connector but doesen't have a clue on where several of the wires go. This connector has what looks like a potted circuit board with 3 wires coming out of it. I was unable to find anything on-line and don't need to buy the entire service manual just to get him up and running again. Thanks

I have all the manuals that came with my GT 235 when new. Nowhere in these documents is a wiring diagram.

These machines came with a Briggs and Stratton or a Kawasaki engine. I think you will need to know which wiring diagram you will need. This might help.

Your Deere dealer can pull up the wiring diagrams and make a copy for you. If they will do that, it is your best bet but sounds like your neighbor could use the service tech manual.

Thanks guys. I'll try the local JD dealer next week. I was able to print off the parts / wiring harness pages and maybe that will be enough. Before retirement, I worked on robotics and automation so a lawn tractor should not be too hard to figure out. Thanks again
