GT 5000

I have a chance to pick up a Craftsman GT 5000. It has a Kohler 26 hp engine. Any thoughts?? compared to other brands. The cost with goodies is around 2K.

check and make sure it has greese fittings on the front end and mower blade housings, if it dont i wouldnt buy it.

It does, a grease fitting on each sping of the mower deck.

I believe Fish is talking about grease fittings on the top of the deck over each blade so that the bearings for the mandrels can be greased.
