GT 5000 Deck Sway Bar

I mow a not so level yard (some good some so so), and mow around a lot of large oak trees. It seems as though the deck sway bar bent and fell out. I bend it back into shape and put it back, but after a couple mows, it bends again and falls out. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Has anyone manufactured a heavier bar? If so, I would like to here or see pics of what you have done. Thanks.

one of the first thing i do with a new craftsman is take the side sway bar off, it is alot easier on fence posts, trees and the mower
