GT-2550 Mower Deck Will Not Shut Off

Mower deck will not shut off, runs immediately when the engine starts. I've replaced the yellow PTO switch, no difference. How do I find the relay if there is one? What would it look like? Thanx.

May need a new clutch. It’s simply sending power to a magnet to engage the clutch. If the pto is still engaged after removing power from the clutch, there is probably a seized bearing in the clutch, which is not serviceable

Does the clutch have power all the time? It might be seized..

There should be a connector near the clutch. Follow the wires from the clutch and you should find the connector.

Disconnect the connector. If that does not solve the problem, then as noted in post #2, the bearing in the clutch is bad.

Some times you can replace the bearing.

I second the clutch. Neither of my Cubs have a relay. The electric clutch is direct wired to the control knob. However, the plate spacing is adjustable on most of them and the plate clearance might be too tight from wear.
