GST Likes, Dislikes?

Hello, drove all three trannys today and I already have a HST so I know all about the HST the endless threads and how its a favorite so lets not go there.

Will be doing some plowing and I liked the GST and it seems easy for my wife to learn.

Does anyone that has one have anything to add such as likes or problems?

Sparkkky--I have a L2550GST and I love it. The tractor now has 800 hours on it of all kinds of work from vineyard spraying, mowing, discing to road repair, wood hauling, post hole digging, you name it. I have never had a problem with it. When I bought the tractor in 1994 the price was a few hundred dollars more than the standard manual tranny. I don't think the HST was available then. The dealer talked me into it and boy was he right! When I replace this tractor one day it will be a Kubota with GST.

When I was looking for a new tractor, I test drove mostly HST’s. I ended up buying a GST. At first I thought I had made a mistake. After a few hours of seat time, I knew it was going to be fine. For what I do with my L3710, which is a lot of FEL work, it has never been a problem.
