Hello, this is my first post and I hope I am posting it in the right place. We have a small cattle ranch and need to get rid of the manure and since we dont have a tractor I figured I should look at a ground drive manure spreader to pull behind an atv or truck. I was looking at the John Deere Frontier ms1108 since it was the biggest I could find. I am wondering how good ground drive spreaders work?? If anyone has any experience with these I would love to hear what you have to say about them.

We bought a ground driven spreader from tsc a couple of years ago, I couldn't locate it on the website, the one they have on there now seems much heavier.

It works fine, we pull it with our riding lawn mower & it will discharge the spreader full in about 400 feet. It doesn't break up big clumps overly well, but it does the job.

We spread it on existing plowed area and the wheels never seem to slide, or get bound up
