Mowing grooming mower and imatch

I put on the imatch bushing kit for my Frontier grooming mower(GM2072R) and was just wondering if it's right that the toplink connection of the mower, which has a floating connection, just sets in the imatch- seems like if the mower were to bounce or hit something it might bounce out of the toplink connection- and it's a little difficult to hook up by myself if the mower isn't perfectly level. Thx,

On my MX5 (brush hog) the IMatch fits on the link just below the top floating link. It still floats, but is very secure in there.

You need a imatch conversion kit for the grooming mowers. I think it is WP1005400

This will convert your top link to a fixed point and give you flexibility to the rear of the mower.

Here's a diagram of the conversion kit. It has a couple of vertical pieces that hold the top link down into the iMatch hook.

Thanks for the info, that makes a lot more sense- I got hold of my dealer and he forgot to get that piece :D
