Groaning/whining sound from rear lift(John Deere 3320)

Hello tractor lovers, I have a J.D. 3320, when i use my rear lift it makes a groaning sound when i pick up and when i put my hand on the hydraulic line that comes from the pump under the seat you can feel it moving,like air is in the line, and sometimes i'll leave a boxblade lifted for awhile and come back to the tractor and start it up(while the lift is still in the up position) and you can hear it for a long ways away, very loud, does anyone know what the problem might be ,thanks, foodplot123.

Maybe the relief valve. If you drop the 3pt lift a little does the sound go away. Is the lift valve hot. A stuck relief valve will heat things up a bit.

thanks j_J ,well it does it hot or cold ,everytime i lift, not in the down position

There is no "pump under the seat" on a JD 3320. Or "behind" it either.

there's a hydraulic line kind of behind and under the seat ,thats the one that you can feel the chatter in. and it comes from some type of pump under the seat area on the left side. i guess it's the pump for the lift.

The line is probably the supply line to the lift. It comes throught the SCV just to the right and into the rockshaft (the lift) just to the left.

Run your rate of drop valve in and out a few times see if that helps.
