I love the Far Side...I also loved my Far Side Calendar...gave me a daily chuckle. My secretary had no sense of humor; she said it was "just stupid". I told her you needed a Sophomoric sense of humor to appreciate the intellect involved.

A bit of a translation for my NA-American friends: "quoits" is our word for the the 'ring toss game' (similar to the game of 'Horseshoes'). A "quoit" is a 'ring'.

(It's also a slang word for a nether-region orifice... the 'ring-bit' )
