Speaking of wedding nights...
Wedding was at grandfathers estate, during the dance with grandad he told his granddaughter that he wanted to give her a cash gift but not to tell her grandmother as she thought he was was getting senile. Bride didn't have anyplace to put the cash so he put it in her glove.
Bride and groom spent that night at the estate before leaving on their honeymoon .
As she was getting out of her dress she remembered that the left her gloves with the cash on the mantle . Not wanting the cleaning staff to find it she ran downstairs and as she came around the corner was surprised by grandma.
"what are you doing down here on your wedding night dear" she asked.
Bride replied that she had forgotten her gloves, she didn't want to give up grandpa's secret.
Grandma said to " go right back up there and grab that thing with her bare hands just like she had done with her grandfather!'
