Hello,
Just purchased a 2014 cs2410. I would like to get a grill guard to keep sticks from breaking up the plastic grill. I have tried to find one on both the MIE and Nolt's online site without luck. Does anyone know the parts number or a aftermarket grill guard that would fit my tractor?

Thanks...Vic

Vic - - your quickest and best fit will come from your Kubota dealer. You might try Messicks also.

When you get your grill guard - if its like mine - as an OEM guard it would protect the grill, battery and radiator from foreign objects the size of your 40 gallon garbage can or larger. Do something like I did with mine and perhaps save your grill, battery or radiator from sticks, limbs or stobs.

my grill guard came w/o much in the middle. It was nothing more than the square outline (no cross bars) and mount area. we promptly welded some black pipe across to increase protection and finished with some chevy v-8 engine paint. I somehow still swung a log through just cracking the plastic grill.

Yeah - rimshot - crap will happen, no matter what we do. I got a big 'ol limb wedged between my "beautiful" grill guard and the shiny front grill of the tractor. Fortunately - I saw & removed prior to any damage.

That's another thing that sort of "galls" me - in this arena where weight is our friend - why plastic hoods, grills, fenders etc. Is it that much cheaper to manufacture these items in plastic?? Is after market replacement that much of a profit for the dealer??

My OEM grill guard DID come with that inverted "T" on the upper part - nothing below the "T" though. As I noted - in its original form - great protection from flying garbage cans and bigger objects. Perhaps even things that go "bump" in the night - who knows.
