Cool enough the fluid tank is within the 3” loader structure itself. I have no idea how much capacity it takes; I’m sure it’s quite a bit. (Lowest horizontal pipe in the picture)

25 GPM at 2500 PSI would take 44 HP. I would think 14 GPM would be plenty. Are you wanting to drive a hydraulic motor or just cylinders?

Well I’ve considered hydraulic driven wood chippers and stuff of the sort just so I don’t have to upgrade to a new tractor. Make the simple old tractor one that can handle any implement in the 45 HP range.

For reference on existing reservoir size: it takes approximately 33 inches of 3 inch pipe to hold one gallon

If you increase the pump size very much you will also potentially have to increase the hose sizes, valve size, reservoir size, etc..

There is a member on this forum that goes by Soundguy. He seems really knowledgeable about the old fords and is probably more familiar with these loaders.

Oldnslo is one of the better sources on hydraulics as well.

Not annoying at all. There is a lot of options to get the same result. Just have to know exactly what you want to accomplish before you begin.

You can spend a lot of money fast and still not be happy, if you don't do plenty of research. We are glad to help. :thumbsup:
