Gresen 2702 Power Beyond Port

My 2702 has a power beyond port that has a plug. Can I just remove the plug and add a hose or do I need a special plug for the power beyond?

Depends on how they setup the PB port.

Some PB ports have a screw that is screwed inside the port to separate the gallery's, and other valve types screws a PB sleeve in to separate the gallery's.

The 2702 is the casting number on the valve. Gresen was purchased by Parker Hannifan so you may have to contact one of their distributors.

Since valves and casting are made differently it is hard to tell you to just remove this plug and look for passages from here to here.

Look at the PDF's and you will see a PB sleeve, and or a screw insert.

You should have one or the other on your valve.

You can open the PB port and look and you should see which kind you need.
