Hello all,
Began looking at this site a couple days ago and am impressed with the amount of information available from an experienced group of members. Will return often, as I beginning making plans for my newest purchase - 110 acres of open fields surrounded by soft and hardwoods in southern Waupaca county. Immediate needs include construction of storage building to house recreational vehicles. Planned uses of land include trail creation for ATV's and dirtbikes (I have 3 teenage sons), crosscountry skiing/snowshoeing, hiking and biking. Land also ideal for crops and foods plots and may consider leasing portion of land for hunting/farming-surrounded by QDM properties and farmland. Beginning to look at vehicular needs and first purchase likely to be UTV (i.e. Polaris Ranger, Kawasaki Mule, etc...) I presume will work well for transportation around property and minor work needs. Realize that tractor will likely be needed at some point, but much depends on ultimate goals and plans for the land. No rush, but really looking forward to the potential this recreational property offers. We close Monday.
