Hello all,
I am Mike, and I've been farming full time since 1981. Tractors and machinery are interesting to me, regardless of make or age. I do what repairs I can. We operate a Ford/New Holland fleet of tractors, from 8N's to the TS100. Do the beef cow-calf thing, sell hay in square bales to the recreational horse folks, and sawmill lumber from the woodlot.
See ya.

Thanks guys! The meat plant was my great-uncle's. He sold the business a while back and the new owners didn't change the name. Right next door was Wilson Motor Company, which was a Ford dealership until an arson (turned out to be one of the volunteer firemen) burned it down back in the early 70's. Primary reason we run Fords today. Shame is that it had been in operation selling farm equipment since before the days of the Model T and the Fordson F. All gone now. I did manage to end up with a Fordson adj wrench.

Wow, small world, that fireman, got a horse barn on my property in the same timeframe.

I still frequent Wilsons!

Wow! I had no idea there would be so many neighbors, near, distant, and in between, in attendence here. Thanks for the warm reception.
The 5640 will be off to Brown's next week to have a synchronizer replaced. Soon as I recover from this major bill I believe there will be a little concrete poured in my shop, and fixtures built, so I can split the heavier machines safely.
See ya,
Mike
