Hey y'all. My name is Brian Williams, and I live in Hernando, Mississippi. Northwest MS has always been my home; aside from college I've lived in a three county area my entire life and strongly believe that winter is God's punishment for man's sins. During my training in college, I was blessed with an opportunity to be in Wisconsin for a month in July, and I could see my breath at the local July 4th parade. I left quickly. I also made trips to Nebraska and Colorado in January and February. That was in 1998, and my left big toe just now finished thawing. One thing I did learn during those trips is that small town people are all the same, regardless of accent. Hard working, friendly, and more than willing to sacrifice themselves for you. Even if you're a total stranger.
As a child/teenager, I logged more hours on my grandfather's Ford 3000 than I care to count, and I'm grateful for every one of them and the lessons they taught me. I'm the mostly proud owner of a 1979 Ford 1700 and a newly acquired 1965 Massey Ferguson 165 that I've already run out of diesel once (the ONLY gauge that doesn't work, so...). I've been reading this forum for years and I'm glad to be a part of it.
Happy tractoring.
