To the forum from Northwest Alabama. Where about in North Texas are you. I met my wife while stationed at Amarillo AFB in 1967.

Lucas Texas... near McKinney. It's a long way to Amarillo!

You are very correct on that. People in the panhandle don't consider that North Texas. That is much closer to Wichita Falls and Sheppard AFB where we were stationed in 1971.
