Good afternoon all,

I've just joined and have 80 acres and a Kubota L2201DT in central Victoria. Looking to buy another tractor in the 50 HP range as the current one is a bit underpowered for the things we need to do around here. It's an olive grove with 2500 trees, and I particularly want to try a Fischer around-tree slasher which requires at least 50 HP.

I've started off looking at an MX5100 but any and all equivalents will be considered as long as they're honest and well-made.

Is there an Australia forum, or any way of finding out if there's interest in one?

Welcome from Central West, NSW. Sorry I can't help with advice on Fischer, I'd suggest to contact Fischer and find out who are agents in Vic. As for tractors I just got myself a Kioti RX6010C mid this year. It's a 60 HP cabin tractor, well made Korean brand. But if you have an orchards why not look at Antonio Carrera, they are designed for orchards - their narrow and are low height. There are also other tractor brands that have orchard models in their range.
