Last year [or 2010 maybe] I read a "how to" article on constructing wooden trusses for a greenhouse. 16' wide by 10' high I believe the measurements were.
I looked through about 30 or more M.E.N mags today and can't find the one with the article. Can anyone help me out with the month/year those plans were in there or better yet, copy and send me the plans? Or maybe even the web address of the article, as I couldn't find that online either.

Thanks in advance.

I built this one and learned that without a fan to control temp here it's a no go. It will be 30's in the morning in winter and 110-130 in the afternoon!!!!
I found the plans for this on line. I bought the good plastic made for green houses for it and that cost me about $75. PVC, real cheap! I had the old screen door and wood bottom frame.
I just found the site with plans- http://www.bae.ncsu.edu/programs/extension/publicat/postharv/green/small_greenhouse.pdf

I believe this is on the right track, although you want something stronger than PVC to withstand the snow we (normally) get in Maine. You can built something from 2 inch conduit; do a search for a homemade pipe bender to build your own.

Greenhouses are easy, and can be as simple or as complicated as you want. There are people here in Maine growing cole crops all winter without heat... if I ever get mine built that's 1 thing I'll be trying.
