Green turns to yellow

It's only the end of March and my yard is already making its transition from green to yellow. At this rate I'll be removing the mower from the tractor in April this year. Guess there's a reason they call California the golden state.

I thought you were talking about a John Deere and I was going to mention that Kubota Orange turns to Mary Kay Pink.

Around here my "winter tan" is greening up nicely. I'll be mowing soon.

My yard has almost completed it's change from winter white to spring yellow. Then it will slowly turn to green, for a while and then back to yellow in the really hot days of summer. Huge temp swings here. -38*C this winter and plus 42*C last summer.

The first thing to green up around here are the wild onions...
It's like a spring tonic for the goats and their donkey, however....

their breath will knock you on your butt now.
