Green PVC Pipe vs. White PVC Pipe

I'm trying to address a water drainage issue on the side of my house and was planning on using PVC pipe set in pea gravel with felt. Is it okay to use white pvc pipe with the drilled holes vs. using green pvc pipe with drilled holes. I've notice that green pvc is double the price.......any thoughts or suggestions is appreciate.

The green is probably thicker. The thickness is more important than the color. Sometimes I lay 2027 but greatly prefer 3034.
