Grease nipple thread size

When I went to grease my FEL on the weekend, I found a zerk was missing. Does anybody know the thread size of grease fittings on a DK45 (451) FEL?

Do not know the thread size, but the part number is 06613-10010 and it works on many Kubota's as well. You could always take one out and measure it with a thread gauge.

I'm at work now, which happens to be only a couple of blocks from a Kubota dealer; I'll drop in after work and get some Kubota grease fittings in hopes they'll fit my Kioti.

I have read somewhere that those zerks are a BPT British Pipe Thread.. I don't know what size though..I will keep looking.

I bought a kit filled with a half dozen sizes and thread types. Some are also tapered threads (as in a sort of self tapping mechanism). I'm guessing there are metric and English dimensions, too.

The guy that seemed to know, says they are 1/8 BSP British Straight Pipe.

It might be simpler to get them from the Kioti dealer.

I bought a few at the local Kubota dealer at lunch today and replaced one when I got home just to test the fit and it fits fine. I am considering replacing all of them cause some of them look abused (particularly under the front axle). Need more to do that so guess I will try somewhere else for more (bought all they had in stock at lunch..<G>).
