I agree with Kent. When I grease my loader, I try to unload the joint so the grease will move into the tolerance space easily.

good tip, I'm going to have to try that next time I grease. I have the pneumatic grease gun but have always had the loader elevated so I didn't have to bend over but taking the load off makes a lot of sense. (Except of course for the ones you can only reach with the bucket up!)

Paul, I had to chuckle when I read that. I had a Subaru many years ago, bought a service manual for it, and on the first page it had a warning that went something like: <font color=blue>Warning, nuts and bolts on this car are metric. Do not use vice grips.</font color=blue>

MARK; GOOD POINT! i always make sure i have metric vice grips ,have u tried the new all purpose , internationla ones? they work fine on all fittings./w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Frank - (I'm saying this before Harv does...) No, the only metric ones I have are the pink ones and they only work on things that are finger-tight. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

I think you're referring to the new Euro-grips, but last I heard, those will get you nowhere in England.
